Given the amount of supplements most of my friends and I seem to be taking lately, I’m guessing that’s where the inspiration came from. All I can be sure of is while I was working on the Beasts Collection, it popped into my head and delighted me so much, I knew it had to come to life. I’ve never been a pill taker (I really wanted to say popper but that felt disrespectful), but in jewelry form, I’ll happily load up. Something that has always struck me about jewelry, I was told not to say “it’s not so serious” but it keeps nagging at me. It’s valuable, precious, very special, something I have great reverence and respect for, and I TAKE it seriously, but it is one thing that I don’t want to be so serious. No rules, no strict guidelines even. Feel the joy and delight from the designs, that’s the whole point. Now this one, slightly different than the happy pill, though it still makes me quite happy, is a nice slow deep breath. Everything is smooth smacking with this ring on your finger.
Nearly 1 ct of green tourmaline and 1 ct of blue topaz come together to take it all down a notch. Set in buttery 18k yellow gold and surrounded by just under 1 ct of natural white diamonds.
